Demag Cranes & Components (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has successfully signed a contract with Herrenknecht German headquarter. The contract included 3 standard cranes. The cranes are mainly adopted in the first engineering construction of Herrenknecht Chengdu project.
The process of the contract signing encountered much ado. At first, the two parts conferred on an order of 9 cranes. But as the negotiation went along, Herrenknecht conducted modifications several times on conditions like the number of cranes, hook path, span and so on. Against the collar, our sales engineers were active to communicate with the customer, adjusting the crane size and quotation continually. After solving all the problems the customer proposed, the two parts finally reached full agreement on a contract of 3 standard cranes.
Herrenknecht Germany is a leading company in designing and manufacturing tunneling machineries in the world. With the rapid development of Chinese infrastructure construction such as underground railway, tunnel, etc, Herrenknecht has sped up its step of product localization lately. This is the first successful cooperation between the two leaders in their own field in the Chinese market. And we believe that there will be more cooperation opportunities in future as the trusts and understandings between both sides deepen.
